100% Pinot Noir from Mercurey in Burgundy’s Côte Chalonnaise, where the vines grow on clay-limestone and marl-limestone soils between 230 and 320 meters in elevation. Aged for 12 months in French oak, the 2022 is fresh and medium-bodied, with wild raspberry and cherry, a little spice and lightly chalky tannins. Give it a slight chill and bring on roast chicken, duck, mushrooms or anything involving a good pile of potatoes.
