This exceptional organic dark-milk chocolate is made with rare Amelonado cocoa beans grown by a pioneering women’s cooperative in Eastern Congo. These extraordinary women farmers, survivors of a war-torn and expoilted country, are actively regenerating their forests, planting and nurturing thousands of native trees, healing their environment, and re-building their communities.
The milk for this chocolate is sourced from Swiss Brown cows that graze in small herds in lush mountain pastures. The cane sugar is raw and unrefined.
