100% Aligoté from Burgundy, produced by Maison Vairet, the small négociant project founded by Eric Vairet and Damien Gachot in Corgoloin, just south of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Vairet has worked alongside Gachot at Domaine Gachot-Monot since the 1990s. Their Aligoté is sourced from vines around Nuits-Saint-Georges, giving this often-overlooked Burgundian grape a distinctly local expression. Fresh, bright and mineral, with citrus, green apple and a clean, lively finish.
