100% Cannonau from the Capo Ferrato area on Sardinia’s southeastern coast, grown predominantly on decomposed granite just a few meters above sea level. Cantina Castiadas was founded in 1959, and Cannonau remains at the heart of the cooperative’s production. Fermented at controlled temperature, then aged for a year in stainless steel and at least six months in bottle. Bright ruby red, dry and full-bodied, with red fruit, Mediterranean herbs and a savory, gently structured finish.
