Sangiovese and Chianti are almost synonymous but the grape is grown in other parts of Italy as well. This vibrant red from Abruzzo displays a violet color and an intense bouquet of ripe red fruit, finely framed with spices. Very versatile; it has the same food compatibilities as a good Beaujolais.
