Grillo is one of the lesser grapes of Sicily and was once the primary grape for Marsala. Its plantings have dimished, and nowadays used mainly for white table wine. Zagra Valle dell'Acate Grillo is very true to the grape, with plenty of citrus and a grassy note of dried flowers or lemongrass. A fresh white to drink at salad lunches or other informal occasions.
