Godello is one of the best white grapes grown in northwest Spain. It produces a high quality wine with notes of pear and peach, along with nuances of orange peel. Fleshy and full bodied, and yet with very good energy. Finishes with a nice enlivening little kick of astringency. This wine has the body and verve to go with the highly flavoured regional cuisine.
