This Basque sauce can be used on pizza's, as condiment or as a sauce. It is made by stewing sweet and spicy peppers (ours are a variety from Hayshaker, WTF and Edwards Farm), with onion, garlic, and a bit of smoked Basque Chile. The result is a sumptuous smooth spread with a bit of tang and a lot of guts!
A great pizza topping! Pro tip: Use Puglia Pounders dough! Top with Ricotta Salata...yum!
