This highly prized mushroom in Japan and Korea is grown locally here in the PNW. These mushrooms have a rich autumnal flavour, a meaty texture and sweet aroma.

Often words like 'spicy' or 'cinnamon' are used to describe their flavour. They have quite a piney note to them, which is unsurprising given that they naturally grow beneath pine duff.
