From the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, known for its spectacular Pinot Noir. Noces de Craie translates to something akin to "wedding of chalk" and refers to the influence of the chalk-based soil to the flavours of the Champagne and is in the full-bodied gourmand style that would be expected of a Pinot Noir based Champagne. Rich and fleshy with a fine pillowy mousse, and made to stand up to food and be part of the meal.
