Fortified wine from Sicily. Made from the Grillo, Cattaroto, and Inzolia grapes. Used as both an aperetif and as a cooking wine. Notes of roosted nuts, dried apricots, and honey. Sweet marsala is a traditional pairing with parmesan, gorgonzola, and roquefort cheese.
