From the Verhaeghe family of Château du Cèdre in Cahors comes this bright little white from Côtes de Gascogne. A blend of 50% Colombard, 40% Ugni Blanc and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, grown on clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soils and farmed organically. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and spends three months in tank, keeping things fresh and lively. Green apple, lemon and citrus lead the way, with a little kiwi, spice and plenty of crisp acidity. 11.5% alcohol.
