100% Folle Blanche, the historic grape of Gros Plant du Pays Nantais, an increasingly small appellation around Nantes. Yields are kept low and the wine spends the winter on its fine lees before bottling in spring. Bone-dry and wonderfully crisp, with lemon, a distinctly saline, mineral edge and a slight iodine note. Bright, bracing and absolutely made for oysters and shellfish.
