After a bit of a hiatus, once again we have good supply of Aligote back on the shelf at Foodscape. Domaine Giraudon is located in the hills outside Chablis, where the climate is cool and the aligote is crisp! This wine is very dry with plenty of intensity. Crisper and brighter than Chardonnay, Aligote is the classic wine used in a Kir, the French wine cocktail made with white wine and blackcurrant liqueur (Cassis).
