Cairanne is one of the villages in the Cotes Du Rhone AOC. Cairanne received appellation status in 2018 and its wines are now labelled under the village name. Lavish notes of smoke and toasted vanilla bean introduce this heady blend of equal parts Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Mourvèdre. Matured only partly in oak, it presents a bold, densely concentrated core of fresh blackberry and plum-preserve flavors.
