Produced in the eastern Franche-Comte region bordering Switzerland, Comte has the highest production of all AOC cheeses. Rodolphe Le Meunier, a world-renowned French affineur, is one of the 188 registered agers of this cheese. With extra special attention to care throughout the aging process, this Comte is an Alpine delight. Enjoyed it at room temperature on its own and you'll notice the melon aroma and nutty and fruity flavors. Lake many Alpine cheese it shines melted into fondue or baked into a cheese souffle.
