100% Melon de Bourgogne from Saint-Julien-de-Concelles, just east of Nantes. The vineyards sit on light, stony soils over deeply fractured schist. Aged sur lie in traditional underground, glass-lined tanks, giving the wine texture and a slight natural perlant. Bright and mineral, with hawthorn blossom and grapefruit, finishing crisp and lively. Classic Muscadet, and made for oysters and shellfish.
