The Côtes de Castillon is a satellite Bordeaux appellation east of Saint Emilion and Pomerol. Classic flavours of this appellation include ripe red berries and stone fruit (plum and cherry), violet, leather, and raspberry. The Château German is 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Wines from Côtes de Castillon represent truly great value.
