Cotes du Gascogne is one of the best bang for your back regions in all of France. It's the southwest, where Armagnac also comes from. While most Cotes du Gascogne blanc is made from just Ugni Blanc, or as a blend of Ugni Blanc and Colombard, at Cassagnoles they also blend in Sauvignon Blanc and Gros Maseng, making the wine much more complex and engaging. Brisk and dry. Perfect on the patio, and with lighter seafood dishes.
