Billaud-Simon is a Chablis house pretty near the top of the heap. Compared to the big names, (Raveneau, Dauvissat, etc.al.) Billaud Simon is not as widely known. As a result, their pricing has remained sensible, offering a really great price to quality ratio. Notes of apple and pear along with the classic sea breeze/ocean air complexities make this a village level Chablis comparable to many Premier Crus. Fine wine.
