In southern Provence, Bandol is the finest of the Rose appellations. A Bandol Rose is a serious wine and up to the challenges of the hearty Provence cuisine. This wine shows notes of spicy strawberry, nectarine, and blood orange. Add to that garrigue influenced lavender and a mineral background. Robust and lovely. Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault, and Clairette.
